Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information beastz.io (“Beastz”, “we”, “us”) collects when you play our online game at beastz.io, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain because you deserve that.
The short version: You can play as a guest with almost no data collected. If you create an account, we store your email and basic profile so your progress and purchases follow you across devices. We never sell your personal data. Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card number. The game stays free thanks to ads on our website — where required, we ask before any advertising cookies are set.
1. Who we are
Beastz is an online multiplayer browser game operated from the United States. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
If you play as a guest
- A random device token stored in your browser, so your stats and any items you earn persist on that device. It is not tied to your identity.
- The display name you type before playing.
- Gameplay data — scores, achievements, in-game progress and statistics.
If you create an account (via Clerk / “Sign in with Google”)
- Account details — your email address, and (if you use Google sign-in) your name and profile picture as provided by Google. Authentication is handled by our provider, Clerk.
- Your linked gameplay data — the stats, achievements, purchases and items above, now tied to your account so they sync across every device you sign in on.
If you make a purchase
- Transaction records — which item you bought, the amount, and a purchase ID, so we can grant your goods and honor your account. Card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.
Automatically, for everyone
- Basic technical data — IP address, browser/device type, and approximate region, used to run the game, route you to a nearby server, keep things secure, and prevent abuse. Some of this is handled by our infrastructure providers, Cloudflare and Fly.io.
- Local storage — small values in your browser (your device token, session, and settings). Advertising cookies are used only as described in “Advertising” below — and, where consent is required, only with your permission.
3. How we use your information
- Run the game and save your progress, stats, and purchases.
- Let your account carry your progress across devices.
- Process and deliver purchases of virtual coins and cosmetic items.
- Operate leaderboards and in-game features you choose to use.
- Keep the game fair and secure — detecting cheating, fraud, and abuse.
- Respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal information. Advertising on our website is described in the “Advertising” section below.
4. Who we share it with
We share the minimum data needed with service providers who help us run the game, each acting on our behalf:
- Clerk — account sign-in and authentication.
- Google — if you choose “Sign in with Google”, and for advertising on our website (see “Advertising”).
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Cloudflare — content delivery and security.
- Fly.io — server hosting.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of our players or ourselves.
5. Advertising
We show ads to keep Beastz free to play.
- On beastz.io, ads are served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies or device identifiers to show more relevant ads and to cap how often you see the same one. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are set, and you can change your choice at any time.
- On partner platforms such as CrazyGames, advertising is served by that platform under its own privacy policy.
You can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.
6. Data retention
We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. Guest data persists on your device until you clear your browser storage. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see “Your rights”). We may retain limited purchase records where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email [email protected] from the address on your account and we’ll take care of it. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
8. Children
Beastz is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you are between 13 and the age of digital consent in your country (up to 16 in parts of the EEA), please use the game only with a parent or guardian’s permission. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reputable providers and industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, hardened authentication, restricted access) to protect your data. No online service is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
10. International transfers
Our servers and providers are primarily located in the United States. If you access Beastz from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed there.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes will be announced in-game or by other reasonable means.
