Welcome to Beastz. By playing our game at beastz.io, you agree to these Terms. Please read them — they’re written to be understood.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or playing Beastz, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the game.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to play. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only play with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

3. Your account

You can play as a guest, or create an account through our sign-in provider (Clerk), including “Sign in with Google.” You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information and don’t impersonate others or share your account credentials.

4. Virtual goods and purchases

What you’re buying. Beastz may let you buy virtual coins and cosmetic items. These are a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use them within the game. They are not real currency, have no cash value, and cannot be redeemed for real money or transferred outside the game.
Payment. Purchases are processed securely by Stripe. You agree to pay the listed price plus any applicable taxes.
All sales are final. Because virtual goods are delivered to your account immediately, purchases are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. If you were charged in error or something went wrong, contact us and we’ll make it right.
Availability & changes. We may add, change, remove, or re-price items, and may adjust the in-game economy, at any time.
You must own your payment method and be authorized to use it.

5. Acceptable use

To keep the game fun and fair for everyone, you agree not to:

Cheat, exploit bugs, use bots, macros, or any unauthorized third-party software to gain an advantage;
Harass, threaten, or abuse other players, or use hateful, obscene, or illegal names or chat;
Attempt to disrupt, overload, hack, or reverse-engineer the game or its servers;
Access the game or purchases through unauthorized means, or resell coins, items, or accounts;
Do anything unlawful or that violates these Terms.

6. User content

You’re responsible for the display names, messages, and other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and moderate it within the game. We may remove content or filter names that violate these Terms.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access — including any account or virtual goods — if you violate these Terms, cheat, or harm other players or the game. You may stop playing at any time. Where a termination is due to your breach, we are not obligated to refund purchases.

8. The game is provided “as is”

Beastz is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don’t guarantee the game will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or that your progress will never be lost. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the game (or any feature) at any time.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beastz and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits, or virtual goods, arising from your use of the game. Our total liability for any claim relating to the game will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to play after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
